Chapter 207: Ripples of Enlightenment & The First Lesson
Chapter 207: Ripples of Enlightenment & The First Lesson
News of the Dao Discussion spread quickly through Prime Origin Academy, but not everything was revealed.
Students only knew that Supreme Void-Walker had held a deep and profound conversation with Runar. They heard that Rule Rhymes had manifested during the session, bringing great benefits to everyone present. However, the fact that Void-Walker had entered a deep state of enlightenment remained a tightly guarded secret.
Gaia and the academy higher-ups made sure of it. If such news leaked outside, other universal beings from rival races would immediately sense the opportunity. They would launch a sudden attack on the academy, trying to kill Void-Walker while he was vulnerable in the middle of his breakthrough. A Supreme in the middle of comprehending a Principle was simply too tempting a target.
Because of this, the academy remained outwardly calm while internally on high alert.
---
In the Apex Class area, older students gathered in small groups, speaking in low voices.
"How strong is that couple exactly?" one senior Apex student asked. "To cause Rule Rhymes to manifest during a simple discussion... that’s not something normal geniuses can do."
Another nodded seriously. "Even among us older Apex students, no one has achieved something like that. They really are on another level."
The current Apex classmates who had fought with Runar and Celestia during the pirate den assessment stayed quiet. They already understood the gap better than anyone. They had seen a sliver of the couple’s true battle prowess. Even the teachers had privately admitted there was almost nothing left they could teach those two. Runar and Celestia stood at the very peak of the Apex Class — apex among the apex.
No one was foolish enough to challenge them. This was the number one academy of the human race. Every student here was intelligent. They knew the difference in power was massive. Even the weakest Apex student could treat an Elite student like an ant. Bridging such a gap would require an absolutely heaven-defying opportunity during a mission or adventure — and even then, it would be incredibly difficult. After all, every Apex student was a heaven-defying genius capable of fighting three to five realms above their own level. The title of Apex student was not a joke.

Back in their private training pavilion, a serene floating platform surrounded by soft clouds and flowing spiritual energy, Runar and Celestia stood facing each other.
Celestia looked at him with warm violet eyes. "You promised to teach me yourself. I’m ready."
Runar smiled gently. "Good. Sit down."
She sat cross-legged in the center of the pavilion. Runar placed his palm on her back and sent a thin strand of consciousness into her body. Since he was the one who had originally taught her the technique, he knew it perfectly. With his Myriad Genesis Eye and Heaven-Defying Comprehension ability, he quickly analyzed the structure and began making modifications.
After a few moments of silent work, he lifted his hand and gently tapped her forehead with one finger. A stream of pure knowledge flowed directly into her mind — the complete modified version of her cultivation technique.
Celestia’s eyes widened slightly as the new information settled. The changes were elegant and profound. Runar had unified her Body, Soul, and Qi into a single smooth cycle, like a perfect rotating circle. The three pillars would now support and strengthen each other naturally.
"Try circulating your qi according to the new method," Runar said softly.
He placed his hands on her back again and guided her personally, helping her move the energy through her meridians step by step. Celestia followed his instructions carefully. At first, the flow felt slightly unfamiliar, but under his patient guidance, it quickly became smooth and natural.
As she completed the first full cycle, a beautiful phenomenon appeared. A faint ring of multicolored starlight manifested behind her back, slowly rotating. It symbolized the perfect unity of her Body, Qi, and Soul.
Celestia opened her eyes, feeling the difference clearly. A bright, happy smile spread across her face. She turned and hugged Runar tightly.
"It feels so much better," she whispered. "Thank you."
Runar held her gently, his hand stroking her silver hair. "We’ll keep improving it together. You’re already very talented. This is just the beginning."
They spent the next few hours practicing together. Celestia’s progress was visible with every cycle. The atmosphere between them was warm and intimate — two partners growing stronger side by side.

Meanwhile, a few hours ago, in the sealed pocket dimension...
Two powerful figures materialized silently near the still-enlightened Void-Walker.
Supreme Crimson Lotus, with flowing crimson hair and sharp fiery eyes, appeared first. Beside her stood Supreme Eternal Scholar, calm and scholarly with long black hair. They had arrived almost instantly after receiving Gaia’s report. For Supremes, crossing an entire universe took mere milliseconds. The real difficulty was the unimaginable distance between universes — that journey still took them hours.
Gaia manifested in her radiant humanoid form and gave them a calm, detailed report.
"During the Dao discussion, Runar and Supreme Void-Walker spoke privately on profound topics. Rule Rhymes manifested and benefited the entire class. At the end, Void-Walker commented on Runar’s eyes. Runar asked if the Supreme wanted to experience them. I do not know exactly what happened in that moment, but Void-Walker suddenly became angry and released a sliver of killing intent. Later, they discussed how Runar should keep his eyes secret because they are related to a Principle."
The moment Gaia mentioned the word "Principle," both Supremes froze.
Crimson Lotus’s eyes widened in shock. "A Principle? That boy’s eyes carry the aura of a Principle?"
Eternal Scholar looked equally stunned. "Impossible... How can a young student possess something like that?"
Gaia continued calmly, "After that conversation, as Runar was leaving, he turned back and spoke one sentence to the Supreme: ’The void has a beginning too, not just an end.’ Immediately after those words, Supreme Void-Walker entered this deep state of enlightenment."
Crimson Lotus crossed her arms, her expression a mix of disbelief and jealousy.
"Tch. I can’t believe that drunkard is experiencing an enlightenment right now. I’m so jealous I could spit blood. We can grant enlightenment to others below our realm with ease, but initiating it for ourselves is incredibly difficult. And yet he gets lucky like this."
Eternal Scholar smiled faintly, though clear envy showed in his eyes. "Indeed. He might even get lucky and comprehend a Principle this time. After we make sure this guy is properly guarded, let’s go find Willith. She should know what’s going on with that anomaly student."
Crimson Lotus nodded slowly. "Yes. The Universe Will has been strangely quiet as of late. She should know what’s going on."
Both Supremes stood quietly for a moment, watching Void-Walker’s surging aura. The same thought passed through their minds:
*Just who exactly is that boy?*
---
Back in the training pavilion, the sun had begun to set. Runar and Celestia sat together, resting after the long session. Celestia leaned against his shoulder, her hand gently holding his.
"I’m really glad you’re back," she said softly. "And that you’re teaching me yourself."
Runar wrapped an arm around her. "So am I."
They stayed like that for a long time — quietly enjoying each other’s presence while the academy continued to buzz with rumors around them.
