Chapter 1002 - 416: 5 Divine Essences
Chapter 1002 - 416: 5 Divine Essences
When Alka opened his eyes, the figure of the Prism King, once more solid, had become rather ethereal.
The previous actions had clearly depleted his energy, and what remained in this world seemed to be dissipating as well.
"I hope our final legacy can provide sufficient aid for your journey ahead."
The Prism King’s voice grew faint, dreamlike.
"Thank you for your contributions; the knowledge you left behind will greatly assist us."
The shadow nodded at its own head, then waved a large dragon claw.
One by one, glowing spheres floated before them.
Then, crystal encased each sphere, sealing them firmly.
These spheres became large crystal balls, floating in the air.
"This is the last help we can offer you; in accepting it, you vow to use all your efforts to repair the world in your lifetime."
As the voice faded, the Prism King’s figure became ethereal and then vanished into the air.
"Grandfather..." murmured Ulu Liwus, head bowed.
A voice echoed in Alka’s ear.
"Open your eyes, and see!"
It was the voice of the recently vanished Prism King.
Alka opened his eyes, gazing at the throne with eyes that could perceive secrets.
Time suddenly stopped.
The people around him, like Chadite, seemed frozen in time.
The world turned gray and white, like images in a black-and-white photograph.
Alka looked at the throne.
Upon it, his gaze revealed a majestic and imposing figure.
Not the illusion of memory residue, but a tangible entity.
"You truly can see."
The Dragon King’s massive dragon head lowered to look at Alka.
"Do you know your special nature?"
Alka looked at him and nodded.
He certainly knew the special nature about him, something even his half-mother, Stone Mother, did not discover.
"Hmm... very good, very good."
Then, the Prism King before him suddenly shattered, turning into countless crystal fragments. These fragments began to gather, forming an inexplicable and bizarre image.
"Look at this image, remember it, remember..."
The voice vanished, ephemeral and indistinct.
Alka looked at the picture, engraving it firmly in his heart.
As the image dissipated, time resumed its flow.
Alka looked at the people beside him.
He could not even sense the link with the Holy Mother a moment ago.
It was a completely isolated and mysterious world.
Everything related to the outside world was entirely blocked, as if the Prism King had given him something very secretive.
However, the image imprinted in his mind, he could not comprehend it at all.
Even with his eyes that could see through secrets, nothing could be discerned.
But obviously, it was not meant for his current self to understand, Alka just had to remember it.
Taking a deep breath, he looked at the few crystal balls floating in front of him.
These crystal balls were unmistakably of the Holy Grail level, five in total.
This was the true legacy?
"So these are five Divine Essences?" Pororo couldn’t help but ask, looking at the five spheres floating before them.
Alka nodded: "Yes, they are indeed five Holy Grail level Divine Essences."
"...So generous," Chadite couldn’t help but say, looking at the five Divine Essences.
Giving away five at once, if not generosity, then what?
This was the most Divine Essences they had ever seen at one time.
And they weren’t just treasures, they were Divine Essences, possessing greater potential than treasures.
"So what do we do now? Are we prepared to leave, or should we stay a while longer?" Julia turned her head to ask Alka.
Waiting for him to plan the direction.
Alka looked at the five Divine Essences floating before him.
Then turned to Simon: "If we were to craft using these five Divine Essences, do we have enough materials?"
Simon looked at the five essences, pondering: "We might have enough, or maybe not, as I’m not quite sure what materials these essences might require.
Some materials are already in short supply."
"I actually want to craft all five of these Divine Essences into equipment before leaving. With the library, we can match these five Divine Essences with more appropriate Spells and rituals."
Alka voiced his thoughts.
Designing all five himself, the chances of perfection were uncertain.
But now, with the library’s help, it might truly be possible to achieve something suitable.
Any idea could be refined through the library’s books.
Opportunities like this were rare, for many issues only emerged during crafting and design.
It was impossible to unrealistically record every book; recording the entire library was a dream.
Moreover, much knowledge was inherently unrecordable, unique.
"So we shouldn’t rush to leave. Even if we reach the Tower of Trial now, we’ll need to train for a while to boost our chances of success," Chadite pondered aloud.
It’s estimated that the journey from here to the Tower of Trial would take about half a year, or nearly a year.
