The Smiling Death

Chapter 478: Cute Dress For Aisha

Chapter 478: Cute Dress For Aisha

The cheerful smile on her face looked incredibly innocent.

Unfortunately, everyone present knew better. Aisha looked at her in disbelief. "You are enjoying this way too much."

Eliana giggled. "Maybe."

Marcus rubbed his forehead.

Sometimes he felt like he was the only normal person in this group.

Meanwhile, Seraphina quietly observed everyone. A small smile appeared on her lips. The sight of her friends joking and arguing like this felt strangely comforting.

Especially after everything that had happened during the previous year.

Amon noticed her smile and grinned.

"Look."

He pointed dramatically.

"Even Sera agrees with me."

Seraphina blinked.

"No."

"Oh."

His shoulders immediately slumped.

Eliana burst into laughter.

Aisha smirked victoriously.

Marcus looked away before anyone could drag him into another argument.

"Damn! It seems Sera is upset that I am going to buy clothes for Aisha and Eliana but not anything for her."

Amon placed a hand over his chest dramatically.

"Don’t worry. You have always been a good girl. So obviously I will buy anything for you. Just ask me."

The moment he called her a good girl, Seraphina froze slightly.

A faint blush appeared on her cheeks. It wasn’t obvious. But everyone standing nearby noticed it.

She quickly looked away. Then she shook her head. "I am not asking for it."

After a brief pause, she continued in a quieter voice.

"But since you are so willing to buy something... then I won’t stop you and will gladly accept."

"Hehe~"

Amon looked extremely pleased with himself.

The group continued walking through the market.

Their laughter, complaints, and teasing mixed together with the bustling sounds of Elarith City.

For once, there were no dangerous missions.

No life-threatening battles.

No mysterious plots.

Just five friends spending their day together.

And despite all her complaints, Aisha found herself relaxing little by little as they wandered through the crowded streets.

Eventually, they arrived in front of a large clothing store.

A beautiful wooden sign hung above the entrance.

Large glass windows displayed elegant dresses, coats, shirts, skirts, and all kinds of fashionable outfits.

"This place looks expensive."

Marcus immediately frowned.

Amon shrugged.

"We are only looking."

"That’s what rich people always say."

"I am not rich."

"You literally carry around gold coins."

"That’s different."

"It is not."

The group entered the store.

A pleasant fragrance immediately greeted them. The interior was spacious and beautifully decorated. Golden crystal lamps hung from the ceiling, filling the store with warm light.

Large mirrors stood along the walls. Elegant wooden shelves displayed folded clothes.

Several mannequins showcased the latest fashions. There were sections for men, women, nobles, adventurers, and even formal academy wear.

Soft music played quietly in the background. A few customers wandered between displays while attendants politely assisted them.

Eliana’s eyes immediately sparkled.

"Wow~"

Amon looked equally impressed.

"This place is amazing."

Meanwhile, Aisha already had a bad feeling.

A very bad feeling.

The moment Amon entered, his eyes started scanning every dress in sight.

She knew exactly what that meant.

And unfortunately, she was right.

A few minutes later, "Aisha!!"

Amon suddenly shouted from across the store.

The beastwoman immediately felt danger.

She turned around.

Amon was walking toward them with a huge grin.

In his hands was a dress.

Aisha stood beside Eliana and Seraphina.

Marcus remained nearby, inspecting the men’s clothing section.

Even he glanced over curiously.

"What is that, Amon?" Eliana asked mischievously.

Seraphina tilted her head.

Aisha narrowed her eyes.

Her wolf ears stood straight.

She carefully examined whatever nightmare Amon had brought.

Then Amon proudly revealed it.

The dress was beautiful.

An ivory eyelet-lace frock that perfectly balanced elegance and sweetness.

The upper portion featured a milkmaid-style bust with delicate drawstring details.

Soft, sheer flutter sleeves extended to the elbows.

The fitted waist was accentuated by a thin sash.

Below it flowed a graceful A-line skirt that looked both airy and elegant.

The design felt timeless.

And extremely feminine.

Amon immediately presented it toward her.

"See? Isn’t this cute?"

His eyes sparkled.

"You will look beautiful in it."

Then he pointed dramatically.

"Why don’t you try it?"

Aisha’s face instantly heated up.

She wasn’t someone who wore dresses.

Most of her wardrobe consisted of trousers, training clothes, practical outfits, and comfortable shirts.

The academy uniform skirt was already pushing her limits.

Something like this?

Impossible.

Absolutely impossible.

"Wow~"

Eliana examined it closely.

"It’s really beautiful, Amon."

Then she smiled.

"Your choice is good."

Seraphina nodded in agreement.

"Yes. I agree."

Aisha pointed at the dress as if it were some dangerous monster.

"Th-that clothing..."

Her ears twitched nervously.

"I won’t even wear something like that!"

"Hey, come on!"

Amon immediately protested."I brought this for you with so much hope."

Then he gave her an exaggeratedly sad look. "I wanted to see you wearing a dress like this for the first time."

"Hell no!" Aisha crossed her arms. "I won’t wear something like that!"

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Aisha please! I want to see you wearing it. Can’t you do that much?"

Aisha glared at him. Before she could answer, Eliana suddenly joined from the other side.

The elf princess clasped her hands together. Then she activated her ultimate weapon.

Her uppy eyes. "Aishaaa~"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"It will be fun."

"No."

The only word that left Aisha’s mouth was ’No’

Seraphina quietly stepped forward. "Please try it."

Aisha looked at her.

Seraphina’s golden eyes remained calm.

"We want to see you in it."

Aisha stared at her silently. That was unfair. It was very unfair.

Amon immediately sensed an opening. He pointed toward Marcus.

"Hey Marcus! Say something!"

Marcus, who had finally walked over, immediately regretted coming closer.

He sighed. Then rubbed his forehead. He was the only perosn here who could understand her pain.

"Aisha."

"What?"

"You should just wear it."

He pointed at Amon and Eliana. "Otherwise these two won’t leave you alone."

His words only made her grit her teeth harder. The annoying part was that he was absolutely right.

A long silence followed.

Then she said. "Fine!" Aisha snatched the dress from Amon’s hands.

Her tail lashed behind her. "I will try it."

Everyone’s eyes immediately lit up.

"Really?" Amon looked delighted.

"Not because I like this kind of clothing!" She quickly pointed at everyone. "It’s only because all of you keep insisting."

"Yes, yes."

Amon nodded rapidly. "Do it for us."

Aisha glared at him one final time before turning around. Then she disappeared into one of the changing rooms.

The curtain closed behind her. Several minutes passed.

Amon waited eagerly. Eliana waited excitedly.Seraphina waited quietly. Marcus waited with the expression of a man questioning his life choices.

Finally the curtain slowly opened.

Silence filled the area.

Aisha stepped out. For a moment nobody spoke.

The ivory dress fit her surprisingly well. The fitted waist highlighted her naturally athletic figure. The flowing skirt softened her usually intimidating appearance.

The elegant sleeves added a gentle touch that contrasted with her strong physique.

Her short black-and-red hair framed her face beautifully. The wolf ears atop her head twitched nervously. Her fluffy tail swayed behind her.

Her cheeks carried a visible blush. She looked uncomfortable and embarrassed. And unbelievably beautiful.

Amon thought. ’Damn! My choice is good!!’
