Elder Huo was so furious that he wished he could skin the person alive, and he would have done that if she were not his daughter. How could she even let such an opportunity go? It was like he handed the key to the treasure chest, and even then, his daughter could not steal the treasures inside the treasure chest. She actually could not keep a single mer in control, and that too, the mer was drugged at that. No matter how he thought of the situation, the more he felt like his daughter was really stupid.
She just needed to deal with the mer, and then the entire tribe would have fallen into their hands, but his daughter made a fool of herself. She could not even control a mer who was in such a state.
Huo Qing was just as angry. It was not that she deliberately let that mer go, but she had no other choice! That mer vanished as if he never existed in the first place. What was she supposed to do? She also wanted to take the mer down, but for that, she had to make sure that the mer was present in front of her. But Rong Xian was as slippery as those Three footed eel. He simply disappeared into thin air as if he had never been there in the clearing.

"Now you know how to be scared." Elder Huo was really angry. He never expected his daughter to play a good card so badly. If they didn’t find Rong Xian, then he was afraid that they would be done for. The queen would not let him live if Rong Xian were to tell her the truth.

Huo Qing was unwilling when she heard that she had to leave the tribe. She had established herself firmly in the tribe; if she were to leave now, what would happen to her? And where would they go? How could they leave? She did not want to.
Elder Huo glared at his daughter. He knew what the woman was thinking and slapped her on the face. He said to her coldly, "Are you awake now, or should I deal with you again? That is what they will do. Don’t waste your time looking for the prince; you might as well pack your things up and leave with me. The prince is already out of our reach; I don’t want to die without gaining anything."
Elder Huo was clear about one thing: if he did not leave, then he was going to lose both the person and his life, and he was not at all stupid enough to do that. He glanced at his daughter, who seemed to be torn between staying and looking for Rong Xian and leaving with her father. Elder Huo saw this and snorted. He said to his daughter, "I am not being harsh on you for no reason. Just think about what will happen when Rong Xian wakes up and finds out that he was imprinted on by someone he does not even like? He will certainly blame you and me."
"Do you want to stay here and face his wrath or stay alive? I cannot stay with you, but if you want to take the risk and stay here, then you can do that." Elder Huo was clear about one thing. He knew that there was no way they would be able to survive in this situation, so they might as well pack their things and leave. But if Huo Qing wanted to stay, then he would not stop her, but he wouldn’t stay with her either.
Anyway, he was still young. If he wanted, he could always look for another woman and have more children; why would he lose his life for this stubborn one? It was easier to find a woman and settle down than take care of this mess.
After he finished speaking, he turned on his heel and walked away. There were a bunch of things that he needed to deal with before leaving.
