In the room, Nangong Yao was singing and didn’t hear the doorbell. It wasn’t until she finished a song that she heard the sound, then turned off the music and went to open the door.

"Miss Nangong, it seems you know why I’m here." Jiang Xue raised an eyebrow and then smiled.
"I don’t know, you should go, you’re not welcome here." Nangong Yao’s heart sank and she immediately rushed to drive her away. Although the security in this complex was good, if Jiang Xue wanted to do something to her now, the security guards might not be able to arrive in time.
"Miss Nangong, I’m someone who values reciprocity. You gave me a big gift before, so I must return the favor." Jiang Xue said with a smile, but upon hearing this, Nangong Yao’s face changed.
She naturally understood what the "big gift" referred to. But if Jiang Xue wanted to return it, did she have time to run now?

While she was preparing to hail a taxi home with her groceries, a Benz stopped in front of her. Seeing the vehicle, Jiang Xue was startled and was about to curse at whoever parked so conveniently to block her way, when the car window rolled down, revealing a familiar face.
"Miss Jiang, it’s rare to see you here, let me give you a ride." Nangong Chen looked at Jiang Xue and said with a smile.
"No need, I’ll just take a taxi back in a bit." Jiang Xue shook her head; whether Nangong Chen was passing by or came deliberately, Jiang Xue didn’t want to be alone with him.
