I’m usually relatively unaffected by cover art. It’s just a way for me to easily identify the book. The blurb is what sells the book for me. That being said, this is a fantastic exception. I don’t need the blurb at all. I don’t even need the title or author (although it’s certainly added incentive). What I NEED is to read about the two men in the picture. Well done, P.L. Nunn.

I’ve read all but one of the Loose Id books P.L. Nunn has designed the covers for and the overwhelming majority are books that I love and have read multiple times. Hmmm…interesting correlation.

If you have the time, you should totally go for brunch at Brennan’s in the French Quarter. And of course, dessert at Cafe du Monde is touristy but fun, totally worth the wait! Mostly, just have fun!
