Okay, anybody who knows me knows I’ve been wanting to try writing horror forever. I mean, I’ve been looking for the scares ever since I can remember. The first book I ever bought myself was a book of horror short stories I got from Schoolastic with my allowance when I was in, like, third or fourth grade, something like that. It was one of those stories “The Demon Of Detroit”, that first kept me up all night staring into dark corners and seeing things that weren’t really there.
Yeah, maybe it’s a little crazy to keep chasing that feeling. So call me crazy *g*
Anyway, at long last, I have started my horror novel. Wooo! Celebrate! Before anyone asks, no, there will ABSOLUTELY NOT be any tentacle sex. None. Zero. Zilch. It’s not that sort of book. If you want to read my one and only story of That Kind, you can find it here. It’s completely nuts and pretty funny, and hot, and you pervs who enjoy tentacle sex ought to like it :) As far as the horror-novel-in-progress, there might be sex. We shall see. I believe there will be romance, of the darker variety. It will also be of the gay variety, because that’s apparently where my brain lives. I have what I believe is a really awesome plot idea, which I am not going to talk about here because it’s new, wobbly and fragile and I don’t want to push it out into the world too soon and kill it. I will say, however, that I wish to hell my brain would quit coming up with my best ideas just when I’m about to fall asleep. I have a hard time reading the things I scribble in my little bedside notebook at night when I’m trying to decipher them the next day. LOL.
Prepare yourselves to hear about this thing in the months to come, gentle readers…
