I was able to spend the last two days sweating over a gloryhole and I couldn’t be happier! Get your minds out of the gutters! I’ve been blowing things! All sorts of pieces. I even shaped a few balls in the tender palm of my hand…

Look, I even took pictures! Look at me blowing!

Ah, the glories of glassblowing! Gloryholes and punties, jacking in, catching a drip, and bench blows… Someone get me a drink! Speaking of which, you have to check out these poems… http://www.bpj.org/poems/crandall_glassblower.html

And two of the paperweights I made yesterday.

LOL! Dirty minds unite! I swear, I’ve got a boatload of things that I want to put in the story. And it was so totally unexpected. I wasn’t planning on doing it until my instructor started saying all these things LOL!

Oh, and you’ll love what I said last night to my parents when I was showing them my christmas ball… “I wanted to make it bigger. But, I jacked it too much and couldn’t blow anymore.” Classic.
