Have you ever felt invisible? Like no one can see you, or hear you? Almost like you didn’t even exist? I hate feeling that way. Like everything I say just falls into a bottomless pool without being heard. Like I can walk down the street and other people would walk right into me without even noticing. Like no one in the world cares what I think or how I feel.

We all have that feeling sometimes, at least occasionally. It’s universal. So I was sitting here thinking, wouldn’t that be a cool book? A woman who is so invisible in her life that she actually becomes invisible for real.

I got fairly excited about that idea before I remembered that that book actually exists out there someplace. Oops. So of course now I find myself wanting to read it. Now I just need remember the name of it so I can find it.

Angsting done now. Carry on :)

Angsting heard and it didn’t sink into a bottomless pool!!!

Invisibility would be cool. All the clandestine adventures one could have. Though all the ones I can come up with fall on the kinky side lol….

    Hugs, Z.

I have read such a story called “Slipping Under” from Anne Sommerville. It’s male-centered and quite good. It used to be free, but is now in a small anthology you can find on her website (http://logophilos.net/) or at SmashWords.

Happy reading, and I hope you find the one you’re looking for, too.

Z, why doesn’t it surprise me any that you’d go for kinky invisible adventures? LOL. I totally get you though. Not on the kink necessarily, me being hopelessly vanilla, but invisible adventures could be pretty fun *g*

imayb1, thanks for the recommendation, much appreciated :) And thanks for the well-wishes also. I read a review of the book I’m looking for somewhere — Dear Author, I think? maybe? — and found the premise intriguing, but I can’t for the life of me remember the title. One day, one day…
