I’ve been watching the Olympics this weekend and have a few thoughts, naturally.
1. I’m more of a Winter Olympic fan, to be honest, but I’m in awe of many of these athletes! There’s a few events I’m really looking forward to, but my main draw in this games is to see Oscar Pistorius run. Whatever your thoughts on it, I personally love his addition in the games.
2. I especially enjoyed the literature segment of the Opening Ceremony, three cheers for JK Rowling :)
3. Seeing so many countries in the Opening Ceremony has once again got me planning my next trip. The world is such a very big place!

If I saying I am looking forward to it being over is that un-American? I loved playing sports but watching them… not so much. Though of course I could entertain myself rather easily by noticing the longing looks one rival is giving the other… but eh… I do like the back stories though and the underdog wins… but I can’t stand how people are glued to the tv sets.
