Things were slow in the writing department this week :(. I ended up with two sick kids. I was certain it was strep. When I couldn’t get in with our regular doctor I took them to the Minute Clinic and got then antibiotics. Mason ran a 102 temp for about 7 hours before I got it down. The next day he ran a 101 temperature. The third day it was finally gone, but Ty developed spots on his hands and feet. So, I rushed them to the family doc. turns out they had Foot & Mouth Disease. WTF? Hoof & Mouth? What are they a couple of cows? Actually, it’s a different virus, I looked because I was familiar with Hoof & Mouth, but it was my first thought. I have no earthly idea where they got it. I told Andre I was going to spray Lysol at them and yell, “Back, dirty monkeys,” every time they come near me. Okay seriously though, they are finally feeling better.

I’m supposed to be getting my granite desk top today. YAY! And I am about to open Scrivener and get to work.

Also, if ya’ll get the chance go check out my post on Wild and Wicked Cowboys. I couldn’t decide what to write so I invited a couple of friends along.

Until next time…

I must say you got me! As I read your post Wild and Wicked Cowboy, I was whining that you were doing more cowboys and not Sterling or Trouble and then opps…there they were!!! Both of them! Very nice!
Glad your kids are on the mend. Germs are just downright scary!
