Like JL I’m hard at work trying to finish the latest of the Taking The Odds books (Nicky & Brandon). Installment number 3 is All or Nothing. It seems like I’ve been working on it for ages. Finally, though, I can see the home stretch. There’s maybe three more chapters to go. At close to 90,000 words already, this is going to be a thick book.
It’s been a hard one to write. The subject matter of All or Nothing hits a lot of touchy places for me. Just because some things make me uncomfortable, doesn’t mean I shy away from those topics…it does mean pushing through them is hard.
So wish me luck. Diving back down and disappearing into my word document again.
