Some time ago, I thought that one day I’d like to write a novel about older men. Men who had a little gray hair, and a good bit of life experience. Men who might discover that you’re never too old to find and fall in love — even if it’s with the last person you’d ever have expected.

That story became “And Call Me in the Morning”, currently in edits at Loose Id. It’s the story of Eli Jameson and Zane Novia, close friends and colleagues at Immaculate Heart Hospital. Once a cop, medicine is Eli’s second career. Zane’s never done anything else. Eli thinks he’s done making big life changes — but he’s wrong, because Zane is beginning to find that he burns for something more out of life. He’s testing his limits and striking out in search of what he really wants: the love of a man.

Specifically and only: Eli. And though Eli had never thought about wanting this, he finds it’s exactly what he always needed — if he can find the strength and courage to change his life. Again.

“And Call Me in the Morning” should be coming in January from Loose Id, and I’ll post more about it as time draws nigh. But for right now, I absolutely had to chatter a little about it because I just got the cover art finals from Croco Designs.

*pleased sigh* Gorgeousness, no? I especially love the dash of gray hair. Exactly right!
