WA update by J.L. Langley

I’m still working on With Abandon. So far so good. I’m liking the characters although I’ve decided that Matt’s younger brother, Logan, is kind of a jerk, funny, but definitely has jerk like tendencies. But I suppose since he loves Matt and tries to act as Matt’s protector that is sort of evens out. I mean siblings will be siblings after all and who hasn’t played horrible jokes on their siblings?

I did some actual plotting yesterday, up until now it’s been in my head, and realized this may be longer than I’d first thought. I was already looking at around 90-100k, but now? I’m not sure it won’t be a bit longer.

I’m trying to be good and keep my website updated with my progress on this, so if you’re curious where I am as far as word count and percentages, check out my WIP page on my website. I’d vowed to start working on a few Jeigh projects at the same time as this one, but I’m finding that Matt and Aubrey are not willing to share. They seem to be occupying my mind pretty thoroughly. I nearly called my youngest son Matt the other day. So maybe this one will get done quicker than I’d hoped. :)
