Is in a few days. I’m packed and out the door as soon as I finish this post to make the trip there. I just got home from BEA in NYC a few days ago where I helped man the Manloveromance.com booth with artist Deana Jamroz and author Victor J. Banis. That was a great trip for a lot of reasons. I’ll talk about it next week when I have more time and I can report on both events.
The NYC trip was all about promoting the co-op group’s authors and titles. This trip to Lori’s is about me as an author. I’ve been tending to neglect that this last couple of years while I worked on starting the publishing house, but I’ve fallen way behind in the last 6-8 months. I need a little ‘me’ time. *g* I have stories waiting and deadlines come and gone and I need to divide my energy more equally now to include my writing more. This is the start of that redivision of time. Since I’ll be retiring next month from nursing, I’ll have more time to divide! Yea!
Well, the kids are tugging my sleeve, so I’m off and running. Driving really. It’s a long haul to the event from here!
