“Indecision may or may not be my problem.”
– Jimmy Buffett
I’m at that weird stage between writing projects. Just about sick of not-writing, yet not quite able to choose which story I want to work on next. I’d been all set to work on a ghost story, then waffled over to a trickster story, then back to the ghost, and then when I thought I was in the clear, I got sucker-punched. A fully-shaped idea for another Tomcat story, right between the eyes.
Eesh. One more plot bunny throws itself at me and we’re having hasenpfeffer for dinner. Sayonara, Bugs.
But on the other hand, I can’t imagine what life would be like without all these stories running through my head. I think I’d far rather deal with maddening indecision than poke forlornly at a barren wasteland in search of a drop of water.
Wow. That was flowery. Countermeasures: it’s definitely time to get busy doing something productive.
