Just checking in for a moment to let you all know that a) I do still live and b) I’ll be more active after this week.
My always busy life has taken a new turn toward chaos. I was laid off last week along with another 1399 employees of a very large software company. Last week and this week have been filled with required activities like cleaning out my office of thirteen years of STUFF, organizing all my paperwork, going to meetings with HR and such. After today, I’ll be sharing my time between my job hunt, my writing and my ongoing project of dejunking the house.
Hopefully this will mean that I will have MORE time for writing. I can’t start a new job until the end of March.
Of course, best laid plans and all that, I can’t guarantee what will happen – but I have hopes!
Don’t give up on me yet.

so sorry to hear about the lay-off. The economy is hitting a snag-fu big time. My son got laid of of his job (a printing press) two weeks ago. Michigan reports that we have a 10% unemployment rate in our state… something that hasn’t been seen since 1985.
I will keep you in positive thoughts, regarding your situation.
