The boys have been bugging me the last few days to go outside. I kept telling them it’s too cold for them but they figured if they tried to bundle up and only stayed outside for a moment, they would be fine. Against my better judgement (with the windchill it’s about -35 F), I decided to let them experience the freezing temp and white fluffy snow for themselves.
Ken and John went out first. You may not recognize Ken with clothes on! The jeans actually belong to Gay Bob and the purple shirt is Rhys’. We managed to find a tuque to cover his head and even had to go looking for boots! Can you believe my little subby boy didn’t own shoes? He still has the gstring and harness under his clothes though, never fear!
Tom was next, comfy in his leather jacket and pants. He tried to get Daniel to come out with him but the little guy wasn’t sure if he’d like it.
Of course, Tom got him to experiment! Those boys are such lovebirds these days!!
I had a little help photographing the entire outing, Gay Bob is quite good with a camera! And he has a little thing going with Billy right now!
Gay Bob was even able to get Daniel and Tom to pose for him. Daniel obliged with a little wave.
Then the four boys posed for a group shot before coming back inside.
Since Ken isn’t used to wearing shoes, Daniel had to help him take the boots off. Aren’t those adorable boots? They’re brown leather with sturdy laces and a slip proof rubber sole. Ken wants to keep them.

Thanks Lily! Oh yeah, the good times definitely included a little warming up that the rest of the boys provided… maybe I’ll have to post that at a later date :)
Aren’t they cute, Ally? Colt is trying to decide right now if he should let Rick go out since my little guy wants to make snow angels and build snowmen. I don’t have enough jackets to go around though, so they have to take turns. We’ll see what happens next ;)
Although, to be honest, it’s really more “how much can the photographer take” in order to see what happens next. LOL! I was frickin freezing taking those pictures. All bundled up in my jacket and boots and scarf, mitts, tuque. My neighbors probably thought I was a dingbat if they saw me out there ;)

V., v. funny! Perhaps the boys need to come my way for Christmas if they’re having probs with finding clothes. It was 36 C/96.8 F here yesterday – definitely gstring weather, although the harness might chafe… come to think of it the gstring prob’ly will too. :)

Thanks Tam! I’m glad you liked.
Kris, I’m NOT going to suggest Rick come to your place because we both know he’d drop me like a hot potato if he had the choice LOL!! Although, 36 C is nearly too much for me (says the girl who once lived in the Middle East with over 50 C temps). If the gstring chafes you just have to take it off… ;)

Thanks Merry! Honestly, I experiment a lot!! My guys have probably been in every position available LOL!
This particular day I wanted to do something with the snow and once I found all their outdoor gear I was feeling a bit wacky so thought I’d set something up with their tiny little footprints. It was a hell of a time setting up the shot so my own footprints didn’t disturb any of the pictures, but I had fun with it :) The worst part is probably trying to keep them in a particular shot without them falling over or putting a foot backwards or something. I’ve had to redo a few pictures because some body part is doing something anatomically impossible LOL!
