Since Kimber and Jen seem to be discussing their muses…

“Where are you?”

“Right here.”

“Then help me.”

Chuckle. “Help you do what?”

“Write.”

“Isn’t that what you’re doing?”

“You know what I mean.”

He sits back, lacing long fingers behind his head and propping his feet up on my desk. “Yes, I do.”

Stare. “So?”

He closes his eyes, depriving me from seeing their beautiful color. “You’re tired.”

I stare at the keyboard. “So?”

“You’ve been sick.”

“And?”

“You’ve been… distracted.”

“I am not watching another episode of Queer as Folk.”

“Why not? Brian and Justin are waiting.”

“You are so not helping.”

Another chuckle. “You’re getting good inspiration from it.”

“But not for anything I’m working on now.”

“You need a break.”

“Break’s over.”

Brief pause while I hear the chair creaking as his feet come down to hit the floor. Then the chair sighs as it relinquishes his very fine ass. “Why not wait until after Yaoicon?”

“That’s a full week!”

He insinuates himself behind me on the couch, moving me quite easily, thank you very much. Then I’m wrapped in heavenly–unfortunately imaginary–male. Long fingers stroke the side of my laptop screen. “How about we try writing just a little, then you can turn on the DVD?”

Scowling, I glance at the remote controls by my side. “You’re evil.”

Lips brush the side of my neck. “I know. You made me that way.”

Oh, they’re all such bad boys, the muses. But he’s right, we made them that way. *g*

Bwahahahahaha I’m trying to figure out if this is your muse that looks like Luc or the one that looks like Radin

Um… both? Skin color and species aside, they are a lot alike.
