I’m….waiting. sigh My priorities shifted on deadlines for stories so my cowboy is on hold for a few weeks. I’m waiting on my co-author who is probably up to his eyeballs in work and moving stuff. Not a big deal it will give me time to flesh out the story and characters. However, I hate not writing on something. The more time I wait the more time it takes to get back into it. I’m fretting, just a little. There is a deadline looming and I am just sitting here. It’s beginning to make my skin a little crawly.

The problem is, I don’t want to start something then have to quit and work on something new. I always say I’d like to write 2 at a time, but I really don’t think I can. I have to give myself to the characters and their story and being divided between two stories? I feel like it would compromise the story. Maybe one day when there are no deadlines, I’ll try it, but knowing I have a short time to write the best story possible? The two at a time thing? Is SOOOO not happening. I can’t not give my all to a story. I’m a perfectionist and becoming more and more so with each piece. I find myself more and more reluctant to let them go. Which can be a bad thing, fortunately the girls are around to tell me, “It’s time to let go.”

So now I’m wandering aimlessly trying not to think too hard about one project, it’s….painful. Matt is really talking, so is Cade. And I have yet another story I need to think about, but I’m too distracted and can’t seem to focus on it. Okay sorry for whining, I’m going to workout and go to my in-laws and go swim. I’m taking a notebook. you never know when an idea will strike and since I’m reduced to note taking… Not that that is a bad thing, it’s a very fun part in the process.

:-( Oh well. I was looking forward to it! I but say, I am disappointed though. I do understand the reason why you dont want to write two books. I personally cant read two books at a time because it takes away from relating the the story. I can only imagine what it is like for writters. But that is why you are my favorite writter!!!

Well I just wanted to add I finally read your cowboys and WOW I am totally loving them. Now My Fair Captain is tied with The Thin Star for my favorite book of yours. *sigh* Getting ready to start with the werewolves now to see if we can have a 3 way tie.

Can’t wait until the next one comes out (of all three series LOL yes I’m greedy I can’t help it)!
