Okay, I’ve been writing this novel with Josh Lanyon called Mexican Heat. The first in a new series we’re calling Crimes& Cocktails. Catchy, huh?
BUT, It hit the 12,000 words mark yesterday and I still have the tender sex to write yet.
I know it sounds…lush (not the same as wordy! I swear!), but there is character development, insecurities, angst, masculine posturing, humor and a little kink in all that. Yes, I said kink. From ME!–Mrs. Vanilla! Who woulda guessed?
Anyway, back to Gabriel and his hate/love relationship. The tender thing is calling to me. It won’t be too much if the chapter hits the 15,000 word mark, will it? Will readers complain?

I agree. Oh, and, er, you need to tell our good readers just WHICH men are the sinspiration for this marathon f*** scene. Just the mental image made my girl parts very very happy O_O

Wellllllll, if I were casting this story as a movie and could have anyone I wanted — for the roles, Gabriel would be played by a cocky, feisty, street smart Johnny Depp and Antonio would be a suave, sophisticated, fiery Antonio Banderas.
As couple, yes. As a very hot, argumentative, passionate couple. Now you know why leaving the bedroom scenes are so very hard for me to do. The visuals, the visuals! lol.
