TEA Update week 3

Things are still going pretty well, but slowly. I really need to get back on track. Instead of 1-1.5k a day I need to be doing 2.5k a day. I keep hoping once I get in a groove it will help. I’m still liking the story and still really enjoying the writing. However, I’ve been stuck on a scene the last week. I know what needs to happen, and what I WANT to happen, but something was just off. I hate it when that happens. It’s usually something so minor but makes a huge difference. Luisa helped the other day by making me realize the scene I was trying was actually 2 scenes, instead of one long one. And today, I think The VEPB picked up on what was bugging me and gave me an idea how to fix the problem in the second scene. In this case, too much dialogue…told you it was something minor. My CP’s are so awesome, but don’t go telling them I said that, they’ll get big heads. Shhh…

I’m way behind on chapters I wanted to have done by now, but I’m at 20k total word count, so not too bad. I feel a tad bit guilty but not guilty enough to depress me. I’ve worked on it every day but yesterday. Yesterday, I helped a family member and that took all day. Today I’ve got errands today–Galaxy, save me from the North Texas Blue Hairs!–but I’m hoping to get some writing done later tonight. I at least want to try and get the beginning right on the last scene, now that Dick has made my brain start working! And if he says I told you so, I may have to hurt him *G*
