For awards and kudos to everyone that has worked hard during 2007 to receive some recognition. There is a flurry of nominations, voting polls and awards going on in the romance community. It’s a time for names to named and work to be honored. I’m pleased to admit my writing is up for a number of them, but whether I win all of them or none of them, it’s an awesome feeling to be recognized by readers, reviewer and awards committees. Just remember, this is a chance to give the authors of your choice a vote of confidence. Sometimes it all we need to get going on that next manuscript. So light someone’s inspirational fire–go vote for your favorite author! Show them you’re eager for more. It always works for me.
