With Caution by J.L. Langley
From: Samhain Coming November 20th
A brother’s vow. A lover’s promise. Both could put them all at deadly risk.
Remington Lassiter is trying his best to stay out of trouble while he learns the ropes of being a werewolf. When his little brother turns up covered in bruises, he is driven to finally bring their abusive father to justice. To do it, he must face a past he hides behind his cocky, trouble-making attitude. A past so dark it haunts him only in dreams.
Jake Romero, a crack private investigator with a bad-boy biker image, realizes he has his work cut out for him when Remi asks for his help. From the first moment he turned Remi into a werewolf in order to save his life, Jake has been fighting to keep his inner demons at bay. He’s torn between the desire to tell Remi they are destined to be mates, and the need to first let Remi get used to the werewolf life.
Jake will do anything to protect Remi and help him break the cycle of abuse he has endured all his life, but his investigation is about to uncover something far more sinister and deadly than they ever imagined.
A past that could put all their lives at risk.

I was so excited to buy this story yesterday, waiting so long for Jake and Remi’s story. Today all I am is disappointed. What a let down. Remi’s character, once so strong, mouthy and arrogant has transformed into a whiney, helpless whuss!Jake, once a long time ago was a hero, sweet, tough and kind-now a jerk. There were so many things wrong with the characters personalities, (Don’t read further-spoilers……………………………………………………………………………………..How can you make Remi a sub and Jake a Dom? Remi was abused his entire life, he had a strong personality in the first book, he would have never willingly submitted to anyone–he would have wanted a mate that was he equal. How could Jake want to treat him that way after the way Remi was raised? Why did you have to add fake magic to the story? There were too many new characters introduced, believe me, I could go on and on. Ms Langley is one of my favorite authors but she has made me very sad this day, I did not even finish the story, no longer caring about either Remi or Jake near the end. This would have been so much better if the story was about the Remi in the first book and Jake having to learn to deal with his strong personality and fear of being with a man. Making Remi a weak, whiny sub was a horrible thing to do to a great character. I know many others will love this story but I cannot believe that I am the only one who feels this way. Sad Face.

I cant wait to have it in my hands! This is so cool! When I finished reading “Without Reservations”, the fact that Jake never got to have a go with Remi was my only sad thought, cause the story is justamazing and incredibly hot.
Im just soooooo sad I wont be able to read it till Fall, cause I got no Kindle and I dont want to have it on E-Book, loving to read stuff while I ride the bus home or when Im at work (feels twice as naughty to read hot man-sex sex while others wonder…) ^_^. I guess Im old fashioned, but books are still my thing….
Hohohohoho, Im gonna tell my friend Remi´s gonna get some in the end!! Please continue this wolf saga!!!! ♥♥♥
