Or what it’s like to attend the Gay Erotic Expo in NYC. Which I did this past weekend with friend Deana Jamroz, the cover artist for MLR Press and ad designer for Manloveromance.com.

It’s not for people easily shocked or embarrassed. It has lots of eye candy and some very talented people. I always have a great time at it and the people I meet have been some of the nicest around. I always come away from it learning something new, too.

I did have a couple of firsts this weekend. The first time I ever helped a guy zip into a little black cocktail dress–he was impersonating Tina Turner as part of the entertainment–very nicely done too, and the first time I shared a public bathroom — hey I had to go–with a male stranger while he put his make-up on.

I also got pegged as a ‘real woman’ (as opposed to the people there not biologically female but appearing to be female for a variety of important business and/or personal reasons) because I got my booth put together and nicely arranged in no time flat. I can’t complain, he was right. lol.

All in all, as usual, it was a fascinating and productive weekend. I made some new friends, made some business contacts and enjoyed myself a lot!
