I missed my Wednesday posting. Sorry, guys. I took my nine year old son to an author night at the school instead. He was so thrilled to have his mom-the-author meet the children’s author. She wasn’t quite so thrilled as he announced I write gay romances. lol. It was okay with me. But the really nice part was he sat down during her presentation and wrote a three sentence story and asked her to grade it - which she declined to do, but she suggested he add some dialog to it and signed it for him. He declared in the car on the way home he was so inspired by this author he might even type his story into the computer at school and make it longer. LOL. He lives with me all his life, pounding out stories on the keyboard daily, but a 90 minute moderately interesting workshop with this woman inspires him! Damn kids.
