We’re having a rainy time of it here in southern California. I know a lot of people are complaining, but I like it. I think it’s nice to see everything wet and I love listening to the rain. When I’m at home and cozy, it makes me feel even cozier.
Mmmm, also makes me think of naked men in the rain. Let’s make it a warm rain. Something tropical, perhaps. We’ll put them on a beach and let them lounge on a rock instead of the nasty sand. All naked and all over each other. Now, isn’t that a nice thought?
What’s your favorite type of day?

Cloudy and windy. The type of day where you put on a duster and harem pants, just so you can feel them snap in the breeze as you walk. It’s even better when the day bursts instead of sets– with really deep thunder and driving rain.
Of course, that’s the sort of day you can only indulge in when you know there is something (someone?) hot and bracing waiting for you back home.
But I’m really liking the beach imagery– maybe the base of a cliff? With a nice little cave to warm up in?

I so love storms that I once ended in the garden at midnight with the door closed. I was outside at the terrace, in my pajamas, looking at the storm over the sea. When I decided to go back inside the house, I found that my dad had already closed all the doors before going to bed! So there I was, in the garden, with my dog at midnight!

Allera, what lovely imagry! “bursts instead of sets” I’ve experienced that and it is something.
And yes, a nice warm cave or, even better, a nice warm cottage
Ines, I hope your dog was good company! LOL Gardens at night can be stunningly beautiful, though and storms just add a sense of intrigue. I hope you weren’t too cold :)
