Because I have had a REALLY IRRITATING day…
* People who pull their big-ass ugly trucks with the vanity plates RIGHT OUT IN FRONT OF ME, making me slam on my brakes, then sloooooooow doooooooown. Assholes.
* People who cover the pizza with olives even though they know damn well I despise olives with a purple passion. I love this particular person, but come on.
* Musicians who completely ignore three quarters of the U.S. and the vast majority of Canada on their “full North American tour”. I’m looking at YOU, Patrick Wolf! I love you, and your music and your freaky clothes!!! Why won’t you come play for me???? *sob*
* Bosses who are actually stunned that I expect to be PAID to be on call instead of taking call for free. How dare I expect to be compensated for my time? The nerve of me!
And my number one irritant at the moment: PENN AND TELLER. Don’t get me wrong. As fluffy entertainment, they’re great. But they are (or at least Penn is) so damn preachy! That show Bullshit, remember that? My hubby got all the episodes on DVD, and it’s driving me insane. I am so sick of listening to that windbag tell me how stupid everything and everybody (except him, OF COURSE) is, I could just spit.
And how was your day?

One thing that really irritates me is when I ask other members of my family to come over to take care of my grandmother so i can have a few hours to myself out of the house and they either won’t answer me or say no and then have the nerve to ask me what i do all day as if I’m just sitting around doing nothing with myself being lazy and care free. As if taking care of her wasn’t important or a lot of work. I love her but lately nothing i do is right. She barely eats and she picks at me constantly. I wish i could blame that on Chris martin

No problem, Chrissie! We all need to vent now and then, and you’re dealing with one of the most difficult things a person can do: taking care of a loved one who can’t be alone. It’s HARD, most people don’t realize how much.
**hugs**
Have you looked into respite care or adult day care? Some places offer reduced prices if you need it. You could call your local council on aging for information.

thank you for your kindness. I appreciate it. The respite care is a good idea. I discussed it with a nurse last time she had home care from the hospital but nothing ever came of it. I’ll try the council on aging. I hadn’t thought of it. Thanks for the suggestion.
