I’m not done yet.

It’s both scary and exciting. I leave next Tuesday for New Jersey. The workshop starts September 10th; the novel has to be out the door before then. Tomorrow would be nice. Or Saturday. Heck, Monday.

Seeing the crit group’s reactions to the story?  When people are threatening you to give them more chapters, you have to wonder if they’re not just being nice (I had to talk Jen out of tar and feathering me yetserday for ending a chapter on a cliffhanger. My salvation? Getting the goo off me would mean less time to revise)

So, the revision’s adventure continues for just a little bit. The story will get tweaked, I’ll learn what to keep an eye out for, and occasionally threats will have to be dealt with. I’m fairly certain as long as the cliffhanger is resolved within a couple chapters, no one will hunt me down.

Until they reach the end ;)

    It’s not still August?!

    Ack!

I swear, you’ll get more chapters soon.

I STILL haven’t had time to read all this with the care and attention it deserves, dammit. Mostly because it’s soooo damn compelling, you can’t stop reading and all the other stuff you have to do gets ignored O_O

Crossing my fingers for you! Half Lives really is a fantastic read!
