Is actually working out very well! My current novel, The Lost Temple of Karttikeya, is cruising along nicely. I’m actually making 3-5,000 words a day — as long as I leave writing the lovemaking out.

Oh, I’m not leaving it OUT out. I’m saving writing it until last. I’m writing the whole adventure out. Where the sex belongs I’m making a few lone line notes about what the lovemaking brings to the story, how it moves the plot along, what it reveals about the characters and then I move on to next part of the adventure. I’m getting close to writing the end of the action and now I need to go back and write the ACTION! The upside of doing it this way has been the pressure to get the main thrust of the story out and down on paper and have it all make sense and fit together in time to meet a deadline. It went incredibly smooth and quick. Pretty soon, I get a chance to linger over the lovin’. My favorite part!
