My first time blogging here! I feel like a virgin. Be gentle with me?
I thought for a good while about what to say. Couldn’t come up with a thing.
So I figured I’d talk about “nothing”. The “nothing” you start off with when you’re a writer faced with a blank word processing document and a Blinking Cursor of Doom. I’m pretty sure everyone’s familiar with the evil cursor no matter what we do for a living. It’s the place where you dive in, flying without a net. What happens? Do you grow wings and soar?
Sometimes, yeah. We all have glorious moments when everything “clicks” and man, are we happy critters then.
The “nothing” is the place where we plant a seed. Sometimes dreams are concieved, born, take shape and become something real.
We all have dreams. (I dreamed of being a full-time writer while plotting revenge on my pointy-haired boss.)
Sometimes we can all make our dreams come true.
That’s why I write, really. That’s why people read, if not me then others.
So here’s to the “nothing”. Cheers!
Finally, to quote Kermit (a very smart frog):
“Someday we’ll find it — the rainbow connection — the lovers, the dreamers, and me”.
Love to you all.

Possesses an abundance of crazy ideas, writes constantly, always tries new things, and drinks an insane amount of coffee. Meredith Brooks said it best: "I'm a bitch, I'm a mother, I'm a child, I'm a lover, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint -- I do not feel ashamed -- I'm your "F", I'm your dream, I'm nothing inbetween - you know you wouldn't want me any other way..." Manlove (and femmelove) is more than a passion -- it's a way of life.

Ah yes, the nothing. One of the scary parts of writing. Luckily, that one’s relatively easy to overcome. Just start *g*
And you do. Often and wonderfully.
